Centennial Park, Elstree – (Total of 750,000 sq ft constructed on this 66 acre Business Park)
Following the completion of the 750,000 Ft² Business Park by SEGRO, Smiddy & Co has continued to act for various institutional clients, private owners and tenants on the Park such as CBRE Global Investors, Dencora LLP, CCLA and Pure Technology in providing property advice and securing lettings on office, production, warehouse and technical buildings. Following the acquisition of Phase 300 by CCLA at the end of 2017 we have just let Units 310 and 385 (6,911 & 4,844 Ft²) and this month (August 2018) are currently disposing of offices and business space amounting to a total of approx. 5,500 Ft².
Greycaine Industrial Estate, Watford – 100,000 sq ft
Acting for Archaylen Properties, negotiated the acquisition of the freehold of over 100,000 sq ft of industrial and office space. The property was subdivided into separate buildings from approx. 3,000 sq ft up to 38,000 sq ft that were then sold or let by Smiddy & Co. Currently instructed to sell units from 4,225 – 10,385 sq ft on the estate.
Caxton Way, Watford Business Park – 22,500 sq ft
Acting on behalf of Administrators BDO LLP, sold the 125 year long leasehold interest to Loxwood Contacts Ltd. Smiddy & Co were then instructed by Loxwood to let out one bay of the building amounting to 7,785 sq ft that was taken by Reliance Wholesale.
Colonial Way, Watford – 33,500 sq ft
Acting for Sigma Pharmaceuticals Plc, negotiated lease renewals on four warehouse units amounting to 22,000 sq ft on Clive Way and acquired another 11,500 sq ft warehouse on Imperial Park.
The Chequers, St Mary’s Way, Chesham – 12,580 sq ft
Acting for September Properties negotiated the acquisition of the vacant detached three storey office building. Once planning approval under Permitted Development Rights was obtained for residential conversion Smiddy & Co arranged the sale of the building to a Housing Association.
Wrotham Business Park, Barnet – 17,000 sq ft
Acting for Wrotham Park Settled Estates instructed to let offices in the 24 unit courtyard scheme of converted Victorian farm buildings located on the prestigious 2,500 acre privately owned estate. Units range in size from approx. 500 sq ft up to 2,000 sq ft.
